QSG Unveils MetisAI, an AI-Native Trading Platform: From a Single Trading Idea to a Testable, Deployable Strategy

September 30, 2026
Debuting at a Binance VIP Closed-Door Event, MetisAI Connects Strategy Creation, Backtesting, Deployment and Institutional-Grade Execution Through AI
Quantech Services Group (QSG), a financial technology company specializing in institutional-grade quantitative trading infrastructure, today announced the official debut of MetisAI, an AI-native trading platform for investment strategy and trade execution.
Designed to bring QSG’s institutional-grade quantitative research and execution capabilities to a broader market, MetisAI is built around the vision: “All in One, One for All. Intelligence Behind Every Step.” The platform brings strategy research, backtesting, deployment, trade execution and continuous monitoring—functions traditionally spread across separate tools and specialized teams—into one integrated environment.
MetisAI helps investors turn trading ideas into strategies that can be tested, refined and deployed, even if they do not have programming expertise, a quantitative research team or dedicated trading infrastructure.
MetisAI made its public debut at a closed-door event co-hosted with Binance VIP. The event provided an opportunity to engage directly with professional investors, validate real market needs and begin bringing research and execution capabilities once reserved largely for quantitative and institutional teams to a broader range of investors.
Turning Fragmented Trading Tools into One Connected Workflow
Bringing a trading idea into the market has traditionally required multiple systems for strategy development, historical backtesting, trading APIs, order management and asset monitoring. Beyond the technical barriers, differences in data formats, risk parameters and operating procedures make strategy deployment complex and time-consuming.
MetisAI brings these fragmented processes together in one connected trading workflow:
- Natural-language strategy creation: Users describe their trading ideas, investment objectives and risk boundaries, and MetisAI translates them into structured strategies.
- Historical backtesting and optimization: Users can evaluate key metrics such as returns, volatility and maximum drawdown, with MetisAI assisting in the analysis and refinement process.
- Risk configuration: Before deployment, users can define maximum exposure, acceptable drawdown and other execution limits.
- Strategy deployment and execution: Once reviewed and authorized by the user, strategies can be connected to live trading environments.
- Continuous monitoring and management: Users can monitor strategy status, positions, performance and risk in real time, and adjust or stop strategies at any time.
The platform is built around a clear division of responsibilities:
Humans define the objectives and risk boundaries.
MetisAI turns ideas into testable, deployable strategies.
Institutional-grade trading systems bring those strategies reliably into the market.
More Than Strategy Generation—Bringing Strategies into Live Markets
Many AI tools can already provide market analysis, investment perspectives or strategy suggestions. Yet a significant gap remains between a plausible piece of AI-generated text and a trading strategy that can be backtested, deployed and operated continuously.
MetisAI is designed to bridge the gap between an idea and live trading.
Unlike general-purpose AI tools that stop at conversation or content generation, MetisAI integrates AI directly into the complete trading workflow. Users can discuss strategy logic with AI, understand backtesting results, refine conditions and continue monitoring execution after deployment. Research, decision-making and execution no longer sit across disconnected systems; they can evolve continuously within a single environment.
Institutional-Grade Trading Capabilities Built in Real Markets
MetisAI was developed by the QSG team and draws on its practical experience in high-frequency trading, quantitative research, low-latency market connectivity and trade execution systems.
A strategy’s performance in live markets depends on more than its underlying logic. Market data, order management, execution quality, risk controls and system stability all play critical roles. MetisAI integrates capabilities traditionally built for professional quantitative and institutional trading teams into an AI-native trading workflow.
Recently, the QSG team used MetisAI to support strategy research and decision-making in LTP’s Liquidity Arena 2026 AI Quantitative Trading Competition, Track A Phase 1. The team ranked third overall, while achieving the highest return and Sharpe ratio among the top three teams. The result demonstrates MetisAI’s practical potential in strategy creation, validation and continuous optimization.
“We did not build MetisAI by starting with a chatbot. We started with years of real-world experience in quantitative research and trade execution,” said Tommy Ho, CSO of QSG. “The market does not lack trading ideas. The real challenge is turning those ideas into strategies that can be validated, deployed and continuously managed. With MetisAI, we aim to make capabilities once accessible only to professional teams available to a much broader range of investors.”
For users, this means that work once requiring coordinated quantitative research, software engineering and trade execution teams can now be completed more efficiently through a single platform.
Assets Remain in Users’ Own Accounts
MetisAI operates on a non-custodial model. Users are not required to transfer assets to the platform, and MetisAI does not take custody of user assets.
Once authorized by the user, a strategy is executed through the user’s own connected trading accounts. Users retain control of their assets at all times, reducing additional custodial risk and platform counterparty exposure.
MetisAI also plans to introduce an integrated cross-platform, cross-asset view, enabling users to monitor positions, strategy status, performance and execution through a unified interface while reducing the management burden created by fragmented information.
MetisAI Debuts at a Binance VIP Closed-Door Event, Building Trust from the Professional Market
MetisAI made its first public appearance at a VIP closed-door event co-hosted with Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume. The event brought MetisAI directly before experienced professional investors for in-depth discussions on strategy research, risk configuration, trade execution and asset management.
For a new AI-assisted trading platform, this was more than a product presentation. It marked MetisAI’s entry into a professional trading environment and an opportunity to test its direction against real market needs. By debuting at an event co-hosted with Binance VIP, MetisAI was able to demonstrate its product vision and use cases to professional investors and industry participants, including how AI can work alongside QSG’s institutional-grade trading capabilities across strategy research, execution and risk management. The event established an important foundation of trust as MetisAI prepares to enter the broader market.
The live demonstration showed how users can create trading strategies through natural language, review historical backtesting results, configure risk parameters and connect strategies to subsequent deployment and monitoring workflows. Through direct discussions and feedback from professional users, MetisAI will continue refining the product experience and validating its application across different trading scenarios.
“Choosing to introduce MetisAI to the market for the first time at a closed-door event co-hosted with Binance VIP was highly meaningful to us,” said Clark Hsu, Co-Founder of QSG. “Trust in an AI trading platform cannot be built on concepts or slogans alone. It must come from real market experience, verifiable technical capabilities and scrutiny by professional users. Professional investors are not only interested in whether AI can generate a strategy. They want to know how that strategy is validated, how orders are executed, how risk is managed and how they can maintain a complete view of assets across platforms. These are precisely the challenges MetisAI is designed to address.”
Making Quantitative Investing Accessible to More People
MetisAI’s mission is to “Make quantitative investing accessible to everyone.”
The platform aims to reduce more than the barrier of writing code. It addresses the complexity of the entire process, from research and backtesting to deployment and execution. Users no longer need to assemble disconnected technical tools or build a complete quantitative and engineering team before exploring systematic trading in a more intuitive, transparent and controlled way.
“Intelligence Behind Every Step” means that intelligence is not limited to generating a trading opinion. It also means validating assumptions, understanding risk and ensuring that every step in the execution process can be reviewed, adjusted and optimized.
From a single idea to a strategy that can be validated, deployed and continuously operated—this is the new trading experience MetisAI aims to bring to every investor.
